Strike came and went, only murmurs were protests out side Fenchurch St. station.  Protestors sung the, all together now, Cliff Richard's song "We're all going on a summer holiday" to the beat of buckets and spades!  Ouch!

27 February, 2009 Strike, train to London, on commuter route London to Essex Monday, 2 March, 2009 for 24 hours. Negotiations at standstill. Both parties bitter. Unions want members to be paid for bank holiday's, total of 28 days paid per year.  National Express pays this to staff from other divisions. C2C will operate full service on Monday. Sunday midnight to Monday midnight.  Parking is going to be difficult, better leave early!

13 February, C2C strike suspended while talks continue.

9 February, 2009 Train to London, workers at C2C are set to strike 16 February, 2009 for 24 hours. Commuter service between London and Essex. Ticket collectors, and ticket office will be effected. 
Regarding:-full holiday pay. Full service will still operate.
